Our Tumbling Program at Colony Athletics is built for beginners who are just getting started in the sport. We focus on teaching strong fundamentals, safe technique, and building confidence from the ground up. With encouraging instruction, athletes get the attention they need to develop core skills like rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges at a pace that fits them.

Recreational Class Options

Ages 4-6

Designed for ages 4-6, our Tiny Tumblers class introduces young athletes to basic movement and coordination through fun, active play. With a focus on body awareness, balance, and listening skills, this class helps kids build confidence while learning foundational tumbling in a positive and playful environment.

Ages 6+

Our Beginner Tumbling class is perfect for kids who are new to tumbling. Athletes will work on key fundamentals such as forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges. With supportive coaching and a focus on proper technique, this class builds a strong foundation for future progress.

Ages 6+

Intermediate Tumbling is for athletes who have mastered the basics and are ready to take the next step. This class focuses on connecting skills and introducing more dynamic movement, such as round-offs, back walkovers, and front walkovers. Athletes continue to build strength, flexibility, and control as they grow.

Ages 5+

Advanced Tumbling is for athletes who have a solid skill base and are ready to work on more powerful skills like back handsprings, series passes, and tucks. This class emphasizes strength, form, and proper technique to help athletes safely progress to higher-level tumbling.
